When we know exactly what we can do is self-confidence. If we know our limitations and capabilities exactly up to date then the self confidence is working fine. But what if we do not update our mindset on regular basis. We either wrongly assume that we can do a thing which we really cannot do which is over-confidence and we may assume that we cannot do a thing which we really can do which is called under-confidence. Conventional Beliefs

  First let us understand what a conventional belief is. It is a belief which people generally stick to on the basis of general opinion or based on what generally is done without questioning them. For example, we would be following a certain diet conventionally without knowing how drastically it could affect us. We just believe whatever we follow generally on daily basis as good or even if we know some belief as bad we do not want to change it because we do not usually ask the question “Am I doing the right thing or not?”   Let us understand now why to change the conventional beliefs. Usually it is said that thoughts lead to actions. But it is not just the thoughts as we get many thoughts randomly all the day not every thought is ending up in action. Self Motivation

When you have a burning desire to do something there is no need of any motivation at all. But when you have the desire but it is not that much intense then there is a need for external motivation. Motivation is nothing but a technique to make one from idle mode to active mode. As we turn the screen on and start using the smart phone in the same way turning on your mind and activating it to work on something desired or something important.   What to do when there is no desire? Look for it. There is no human being who can survive without a desire. The desire could be vague like living happily, having great fun, being adventurous, taking care of family, eating well every day, sleeping and so on. The desire could be more specific as well like becoming a doctor, becoming an engineer, becoming an entrepreneur, getting a better job, writing a book, getting a good spouse (if single) and so on.
